Dr. Mkono is the most wonderful, sweetest, compassionate, intelligent and understanding doctor I have ever met. I felt like I was talking to a family member, she understood the family dynamic I was dealing with. She always took the time to make sure we understood what she was saying, what to watch for and next steps if necessary. She assisted me with proper communication for insurance coverage. Other than my dad being in need of her services, it was a great experience being a part of her patient group. The office personnel is wonderful to work with too. If you want a caring doctor this is the one Looking for the best pulmonary care in South Florida it’s not JFK , it’s not Boca, Wellington or Cleveland Clinic it’s Dr Mkono. Local Boynton Beach office nice location. This doctor will sit and listen to you then explain why you’re not correct . Then shows her professional side as she gives an exact description of your problem. Then explains how it needs to be treated. And from my experience she treats and succeeds. Don’t let her small size fool you; it’s pure power and knowledge.

Do you accept insurance for office visits?
Pulmonary CC accepts insurance for eligible office and practice telehealth visits. UCan visits are separate self pay visits and are not billed to insurance. Coverage varies by plan, so call the office before scheduling.
Do I need a referral to see Dr. Mkono?
Patients with HMO plans or insurance plans requiring a referral must have the referral sent to Pulmonary CC before the appointment can be confirmed. Call the office if you are unsure.
How do I pay for an office visit?
Please check in before your appointment and complete any copay or deductible through the secure payment link. We accept credit cards and do not accept cash. We prefer not to collect card information by phone.
Can I pay by Zelle or mail a check?
You may pay by Zelle in the office by scanning the posted QR code. Checks may be mailed before an appointment or for a past due balance to 6615 W. Boynton Beach Boulevard, PMB 101, Boynton Beach, FL 33437. This address is for billing only.
How can I access my medical records?
Office patients can be granted access to the eMedical Practice portal. UCan patients can access their completed visit note as soon as the provider finishes it. You may download or print your records at no charge.
Can my records be sent directly to another provider?
Yes. You can fax a completed UCan note directly from your portal. Pulmonary CC can also fax records to a provider listed in your chart when requested.
